Rebels
Defeat 90 is a failure rebellion built to tear down the accepted status quo of a 90% failure rate through an entrepreneur collective. Our pursuit is to cultivate authentic conversation that passes on the wisdom we all have from the tough-fought journeys. Understanding the small lesson you learned could save the lives of your fellow entrepreneurs' businesses.
Even deeper, we believe that a core reason why business failure is tied to your character and how you lead your team. Defeat 90 is focused on creating a rebellion that stops just focusing on the tactic of business but realizes that a holistic approach is needed to create success. Not everyone can be a part of this collective journey. Everyone will always be welcome, but some... will not have the strength of character to face obstacles in this rebellion.
When we say "rebellion," it is not some marketing gimmick to be different. We are genuinely working to rebel against what has been accepted forever in business. That the failure rate is just a product of the survival of the fittest. Yes, many companies will fail even with help because they don't have the "it factor" it takes to be an entrepreneur. Even if those companies didn't start, something is missing in our community, that we haven't challenged the failure rate.
Seriously, with some of the brightest minds in society, how do we not understand how this failure rate has affected everyone's family? You, the small business owner, employ 46% of the workforce. Your success or failure matters to more people than you would ever think. So will you take up the fight and rebel against what has always been? Will you join the collective to help you and your business and others?ptate id quam harum ducimus cupiditate similique quisquam et deserunt, recusandae. here
It won't happen overnight, but together, as we win the fight against failure, 90% will become 85%, and So on until the future of many will become brighter. Problems only get fixed when we acknowledge that something needs to be different and make the changes. For too long, everyone has accepted businesses failing as just part of the game. It's time we rebel against the status quo and Defeat 90.
As entrepreneurs, we are wired differently and can be very independent. Some might even say we are stubborn or prideful, but our misunderstood strength gets us through tough times. The problem is that these great qualities keep 81% of us from sharing our business struggles, which can be detrimental to us. Through a collective of like-minded business owners, we can learn tested lessons that can help us in our most challenging moments to Defeat 90.
Is focusing on crazy success distracting us from the consistent action we need to build a lasting business? Is our need to grow something fast causing us to make bad decisions and end our company before it truly gets started? Maybe our expectations and approach to business need a reality check from the sugar-coated business media we see. So much of the content created for business is missing an authentic and practical view rooted in lessons learned from failure. By creating micro-learning content with you, the entrepreneur, we can Defeat 90.
This idea may seem obvious, but you, the entrepreneur, create, grow, and maintain the health of the business. Even deeper, you are responsible for the heart of your company, which largely depends on your character. So many businesses can grow because they have figured out the business part but don't last because they haven't figured out the culture issues. Everything will grow or fail based on your ability to lead your company. Entrepreneurship needs to be approached in a holistic way for both you and your business to grow to Defeat 90.
If you have read this page all the way to this point, thank you for caring about what Defeat 90 is. This is just a quick note from me the founder. Defeat 90 is a project I have had in my heart for over 10 years. I built part of it 10 years ago for a different use case but never fully got to let it become what I hope it will now. I know the rebellion motif might seem like some marketing thing or a little over the top, but it's a real idea in my heart. I keep seeing the consequences of failed business in the real world, and people get hurt. Somehow, we keep disconnecting from the reality of failure, believing it is some game. The part that eats at me when I hear the stories about what happened with a lot of these failed companies is that most were preventable. The business world is definitely in need of a rebellion that tackles why we are failing and taking responsibility to fix that. We need an authentic community working to help each other succeed and pass wisdom forward to help the next generation do better.
